At Kingsley road preschool we have years of experience with helping support the development of children with additional needs and striving for the best outcomes. Our SENCO Amy Hill has completed 'becomming a senco training' this covers all elements of working with children with additional needs. Amy continues to attend regular training and forums to update her knowledge and ensure children are getting the best opportunities. Our manager is also a qualified level 3 early years senco and continues to support Amy in her role. 

Our staff have all attended bitesize training to help them in their roles as keyworkers and specific training to work alongside children with additional needs. Our setting also benefits from 2 well trained and passionate SEN support workers who work alongside our children with SEND on a 1:2 ratio

Our sensory room 

We are very lucky to have the space to create our own sensory room where the children can come to sit and have quiet time. They can enjoy the sensory toys including lights, lava lamps, rocking chairs and more.
